Gay Victoria

A Place for Queens Tucked between Seattle and Vancouver, Victoria makes a great stop -- and stay -- when you're traveling across the great Northwest. With an international airport and several passenger ferries from both sides of the border, the island-city is easy to access. In British Columbia, government-appointed marriage commissioners and some religious representatives have the right to issue same-sex marriages. So this, combined with the natural beauty and fledgling gay scene, has made Victoria a popular wedding destination for LGBT couples. There are a handful of gay bars and clubs, and amount of gay-owned businesses really demonstrate's Victoria's place as an gay-friendly destination.
